OOC - This is a character for an AU Marauder-era Harry Potter RPG. The avatar used for this character is international model Vladimira Cichova. It is used without permission. No infringement is intended.
My name is Stella Gardner and I'm a Ravenclaw in the Hogwarts graduating class of 1975. I'm a Half-blood (Mum is a Pureblood and Dad is a Muggle) who was raised in a mostly Muggle environment... sort of. You see, Mum and Dad are hippies, revolutionaries really. Have been since before it was fashionable. They got involved in the CND (that's the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament) not long after I was born. My first memory is actually of riding on my dad's shoulders in a protest rally in Trafalgar Square when I was about three-years-old. Anyhow, I'm getting off topic already. Mum ran into an old school chum at one of the rallies and they got to talking politics. Before long, my parents and a small group of their friends, all of whom were connected to the magical world in some way, decided to start their own commune out in West Yorkshire, escape the excesses of city life. So, that's where I grew up, on a mostly Muggle but partly wizarding commune in the middle of no where.
Mum and Dad are great, very supportive people. They've always taught me and my two younger sisters to question the world around us and to never be afraid to express ourselves. I found an outlet for that expression fairly early. I'm an artist, usually working in paint, and have been for as long as I can recall. Peace, my middle sister (she's three years younger than me), has always struggled a bit with finding an artistic outlet, but she seems to be settling well into poetry now. My youngest sister, Harmony (who is eight years younger than me), is a brilliant musician. Peace isn't magical, but Harmony is. Not that it matters to me in the least. Magic doesn't determine human worth any more than blood status or gender or any other divisive factor we seem to think up, no matter what some people seem to think.
